This year-end appeal brought in double what they had ever received before. So what is the magic formula you ask? Um.. hard work and a long term commitment. This campaign was the first since the launch of a new website that greatly enhanced trust in the mission. We also had been working for two years on improving their mailing list (yep a smaller list got better results). Lastly this direct mail was truly integrated (we had web and email elements).
